State and CLIA compliance

MBS provides services to maintain state and CLIA regulatory compliance.  MBS has the expertise to help California laboratories comply with California clinical laboratory regulations that differ from current CLIA regulations.

MBS provides services to enable a new or an existing laboratory to achieve accreditation by designing and supervising a team approach for these accrediting agencies:

The College of American Pathologists (CAP)

MBS can provide current CAP team members to join a lab on their required CAP inspections.

The Joint Commission Accreditation

COLA

Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP)

MBS is one of the few companies having experience in helping hospital laboratories become accredited by the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP).

Quality Audits

MBS provides independent laboratory Quality Management Audit Systems for clinical laboratories.  The system, using MBS employees or associates, audits compliance for CLIA or other accrediting regulations, billing, HIPAA, safety and other compliance areas to assist the laboratory in maintaining regulatory compliance.

This independent system has a level of objectivity that internal audits do not provide.
