MBS has written, implemented and trained staff for the HIPAA Privacy Rule in over 60 clinical laboratories, physician practices, third party billing companies and surgery centers.  MBS provides updated policies, procedures and staff training required by the HITECH Act.

Random audits have started HIPAA Privacy & Security Audit Program and MBS can help you become HIPAA compliant.

Overview:  The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, in Section 13411 of the HITECH Act, requires HHS to provide for periodic audits to ensure covered entities and business associates are complying with the HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules and Breach Notification standards.  The pilot audits began November 2011 and will be completed December 2012
